Director, Delhi Brass · 37 years in metal fabrication & lighting
Vikram Khullar is a Director of Delhi Brass and the technical conscience of the workshop. Over 37 years he has moved from the bench to the head of a floor that runs CNC, lathe, casting, in-house paint and hand-finishing, and he still personally signs off the tolerances on bespoke commissions. His view is simple: a drawing is a promise, and the workshop's job is to keep it in metal.
Keeps a vernier caliper in his shirt pocket and has, on more than one family holiday, been caught measuring the chandeliers in a hotel lobby. He claims he can name a brass alloy by the note it rings when tapped — and is annoyingly often right.
Areas of expertise
CNC jaali, brass & MS railings, gates, casting & lathe work, patina & finishing, made-to-order metalwork, structural tolerances.
Every Delhi Brass Journal article is written by a member of our workshop and, where it makes a technical or product claim, reviewed by one of our directors. See our editorial standards or learn more about Delhi Brass.
